Created the cover for Nottingham University's Creative Writing Society Magazine Firelight. The editor Claire Miller wrote "I think that's the quickest I've ever received an illustration! Thanks so much for being prompt! We love it. I particularly like the detail of adding the previous front cover!"
Di has illustrated for author and actor Christine Dawe many times. This time it was a cover and characterisations for her imaginative and exciting children's book 'Stargazey World'. She wrote "I'm absolutely delighted with the speed and accuracy with which you have interpreted my ideas".
NWLDC commissioned a humorous painting of Ashby de la Zouch Hood Centre outdoor baths. The successful painting has been used in advertising to show what an exciting time the public could have at the baths.
Di drew pen and ink drawings of every building in the centre of Ashby de la Zouch for a pictorial Town Map. Feedback has shown this to have been a very popular guide to the market town; they are available Free through Ashby Tourist Information and many shops
Knuston Hall. Di was a popular art tutor at this Residential Adult Education College in Northamptonshire for many many years. The College closed in 2021.
In 2013, Di was presented with a Civic Award by the Town Council of Ashby for "Notable service to our community and for the furthering of civic pride in this historic town".
A few years ago Di was on the London Steering Committee of Children in the Picture, a project run by SCOPE that aimed to promote the Inclusion of disabled children in early years picture books and stories. In 2021 this illustration was chosen by the story agency Catsnake, London to be a focus for a pop up advert for SCOPE. In 2024 Di had two of her paintings chosen for the Scope Calendar.
